The Other Side

We're on our last video for TV/Video, this one's a music video. This time, I'm on the other side of the camera for once. I let Kyle and Ben film it, and I played guitar. We're doing "Communion" by Trace Bundy; he's easily my favorite guitarist ever.

We spent two days after school filming it, and I'm doing a little editing. But other than that, this video's gonna be theirs. I'm trusting them with my good name here..

So yeah, that's the update on my life for now.

P.S. I interviewed for the Sterling Scholar in Multimedia and Photography today. Cross your fingers. These babies will help me in college.

Aspirations

I've said it before, I love time lapse photography/cinematography. To me it's the coolest thing we've learned how to do with a camera. I don't have any pictures of my own to go with this blog, but I will soon enough.

I saw this video today, just surfing on Vimeo. Which is 100x better than YouTube by the way. No pointless, low quality videos to stumble across. I did stumble across this one though. Some of the coolest time lapse cinematography I've seen.

It's called "Rapture" by Tom Lowe.

If I can ever do something like this, I'll feel accomplished with my life.

Check out "Rapture" here
